JMD Hardwood Floors provides an in-person estimate for your hardwood floor refinishing or installation project at no charge. If your project requires carpet and tack strip removal, our team can handle the prep work to ready your space for dust-controlled sanding and refinishing.
Screen and Coat Services
A screen and coat helps protect a floor's longevity by taking off enough finish to apply a fresh coat of new polyurethane. Typically this is a good route to go if your floors are in pretty good shape, with no major scratches or damage, and you are trying to increase floor protection and give the floors a fresh look. This process is also considerably less cost and labor than the full sanding and refinishing process.
Dust Contained Sanding and Refinishing
We use specialized equipment to eliminate 97% of dust during the sanding process. If necessary, we will also hang plastic in doorways and non-work areas in order to ensure that we are as clean as possible in your home or business. JMD Hardwood Floors uses top of the line commercial sanding equipment and only the best stain and polyurethane to protect your floors for the years to come.
Hardwood Installation
Installing hardwood in a new home or even in part of your existing home will stand the test of time and add value to your property. We use only the finest hardwood in the area, milled by Sheoga. JMD Hardwood Floors looks forward to customizing a plan that will fulfill all the needs of your project. Once the floor is installed, we can then service your dustless sanding and refinishing needs as well.
Floor Repairs
On occasion, there are certain hardwood boards that need to be replaced before the sanding and refinishing process can take place. We can take out those boards and seamlessly replace them with high quality new wood that will help maintain consistency with your project.
